We do NOT permit direct bookings to be made from this site but rather, if you are interested in Australian destinations for your holiday or maybe if you prefer to travel ex-Australia to international destinations, then this travel information site could well assist you to make the correct decision.  We do not allow travel bookings to be made from this site because we have committed this site to provide you with information that might assist you before you decide to make a booking.

If you wish to book Australian domestic airfares, then we recommend you book with the airline that best suits your budget and itinerary needs. In particular, luggage allowances are now reducing with heavy financial penalties incurred for "overweight" luggage. We suggest you book through a site that provides a number of alternatives simultaneously in order to get the best deal to suit your travel needs.  Alternatively, please seek advice from your Travel Agent.  We highly recommend that you utilise the services of a professional licensed Travel Agent when booking travel arrangements. The best Travel Agents can provide independent expert advice that can save you money and heartache!  Beware of unlicensed, and particularly uninsured Travel Agents because using such can get you into all sorts of trouble.  Would you allow an unqualified, unlicensed Doctor to undertake an operation on you? Of course not!  It's the same sort of story in the travel industry.  So whatever you do, we implore you to choose your Travel Agent wisely. We've included a full page on this site just to this subject alone - we believe it's that important. It is crucial that any travel agent that you choose to book through is a member of the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) and importantly, is also licensed through its State Authority (denoted by a number such as TAS156 or VIC123 etc) and is authorised and insured by the Travel Compensation Fund (TCF). The TCF is comprised as an independent body which licenses and insures legitimate Travel Agents and their clients in case of collapse of a travel agency. Without a TCF license your Australian Travel Agent is not legitimate. Make sure that you pay attention to these details because each year thousands of travellers make the mistake of not booking through fully licensed and/or insured and registered agencies. On this site we recommend ONLY those agencies with these crucial legal requirements in place.
